Time is not lost, it is freed.

I often regard “lost time” as a source of waste, regret, or anxiety—but I believe that non-productive time may in fact be a gateway to freedom. I hand-carved this inscription inside an antique box, which I see as a treasure chest. Every time I see it, I feel the urge to put something inside.

The object inside changes over time, each one corresponding to a particular psychological state. This evolving structure is my challenge to the logic of linear time: while I am accustomed to marking time through clocks and calendars. This wooden box is a temporal vessel—a container of time.
