Always Right
This triptych installation is a psychological map I created for myself. In a world where coordinates are constantly shifting, I can no longer rely on a singular sense of direction. Instead, I’ve tried to construct a system of my own—one that reflects how my perception of the world changes across different stages of life.
The level is no longer just a measuring device—it has become a metaphor for the tension between what is considered “standard” and everything that deviates from it. A blue ribbon hangs below, once used by a friend to wrap a gift for me. I replaced the bow with a dead knot. To me, the moments of overthinking, hesitation are often more paralyzing than mistakes themselves. This knot embodies that entanglement—the kind that slowly distances me from the gift the world offers.
